Our Municipal Lake is to low to launch a boat, so i walked my favorite bank this afternoon and put out some ceder. I carried a pair of loppers, a pair fencing pliars, and some wire. Tyed the limbs to the rocks and tossed them out... Should be ready to fish in a couple of days!!!

Make It Count!!! <><

No problem Tosh. Its a lot eaiser to use sand bags and fill them with sand, rocks, dirt from the bank than carry blocks etc. I have not had any wash away.

John, Is oak limbs the best to use? Brush is much easier than stakes and buckets

Some people believe hard wood will hold bigger fish. But any brush will work if you put it where the fish are.

I have better luck on the brush tops for big fish. I had a guy tell me that they did good on some stuff like that on a lake in Alabama a few years ago. The problem is you will have a lot of fish hang you up. Tying sandbags filled with rock to them will keep them in place. Have yet to loose one. Not real crazy about the buckets.

I didnt know if the current of high water might wash the sand out but if it works it be easier and cheaper.

Tosh, do you put buckets on the river or drive stakes? Seems like the buckets will wash away.
