Whole crappie or Filleted Crappie?

It seems everyone eats crappiei filleted. I actually like them better the old fashioned way. Whole fried crappie just have a more full taste. Don't get me wrong I eat them fillets too but favor whole. Anyone else?

Like them both ways, never tried them with skin on the fillets.

Walk,, I like them whole also but it sure is a lot more trouble to handle them. I also like a variation somewhere in the middle I call skin on fillets. Kind of gives you the best of both worlds.
