Show Down Guide Service

Earl Brink Jr.

My name is Earl Brink Jr. I ran a guide service on Lake Eire and Lake Michigan in 1984 thru 1997 and currently guide on Arkbutla, Enid, Grenada, and Sardis in Mississippi. I fished for Perch, Walleye, Lake Trout, and Salmon and now fish for crappiei using various methods to include slow trolling, vertical jigging, and long lining.

I began fishing Crappie Tournaments in 1998. In 2001 I was unable to purchase Jigs like I wanted, so I decided to start making my own. That is how ShowDown Crappie Jigs began. I wanted to provide the best colors and jigs to catch trophy crappie.

I have won three Crappie Classic using ShowDown Crappie Jigs. They are the 2002 NACA Classic Tournament, the 2004 CAST Classic Tournament, and the 2006 Bass Pro Shops Crappie Master Classic Tournament. I have fished many lakes in the US and have proven myself as a qualified crappie guide and competitor. From dock shooting, handheld poles to spider rig trolling you will not find a better quality crappie, perch, walleye, or striper jig on the market.

I enjoy meeting new people as well as teaching various crappie fishingi methods. I am confident that anyone will enjoy a guided crappie trip with me. I also would like to challenge anyone that fishes for Crappie to take a child fishing to make their life more enjoyable and meaningful.
